Home and furniture brands Pottery Barn and West Elm are launching new concessions across several UK John Lewis stores this year.

Concessions will be rolled out in John Lewis stores including its Glasgow and Liverpool sites, after Pottery Barn debuted in the UK in October 2025.

The new concessions will give customers beyond London the chance to shop both brands in person at selected John Lewis sites, according to the retailer.

Alongside the nationwide concessions, Pottery Barn has launched at Peter Jones in Sloane Square, London, this month, marking a further step in the brand’s UK retail expansion.

Pottery Barn and West Elm form part of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio, a US multi-channel specialising in homeware and furniture.

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. executive vice president global Michelle Hummel said: “Our expansion from John Lewis online into more John Lewis stores across the UK marks an exciting milestone for West Elm and Pottery Barn, allowing more customers to experience both brands beyond our London flagship store.

“We already know the products across both brands resonate strongly with UK customers, and that the connection is even stronger when people can see and feel them in person.

“That’s why we’re delighted to be growing our national presence through our ongoing partnership with John Lewis, as we look ahead to what will be an exciting year for both West Elm and Pottery Barn.”

John Lewis director of home Jason Wilary-Attew added: “We are thrilled to bring the West Elm and Pottery Barn experience to more of our shops across the UK, building on the fantastic success we’ve seen online.

“At John Lewis, we know our customers value the opportunity to see and feel the quality of our curated collections in person.

“This expansion is a key part of our commitment to offering a truly inspiring multi-channel shopping experience, and we look forward to a very exciting year ahead alongside our partners at both brands.”

To be honest, John Lewis can do without these bland, beige US brands moving into the UK market. Their stores in Canada and the US are an absolute snooze fest… can we see some fresher, European collabs please.
