Sephora UK has announced a ‘Sephora summer’ as it revealed the opening dates for its next four store launches.
The makeup retailer’s new stores, which will be based across Scotland and Central London, debuts its small format boutiques approach. They form part of its broader retail strategy, which aims to bring its ‘temples of beauty’ to all corners of the UK.
Sephora’s St James Quarter Edinburgh store will open on 09 July, comprising 4,961 sq ft of retail space. Its Glasgow Silverburn shop will launch on 13 August, spanning 5,048 sq ft.
Both stores will sell Sephora UK exclusives and selective brands, including Rhode, Haus Labs, Makeup by Mario, Merit Beauty, InnBeauty Project, Tower 28 and Half Magic for the first time in Scotland.
The new boutique style formats will open on London Carnaby Street on 23 July and Old Spitalfields Market on 30 July.
The boutique style stores were developed as a direct result of customer feedback, according to the brand, with the aim to “deliver a premium beauty experience while fitting seamlessly into everyday life”.
This new concept will allow Sephora to reach new audiences based on their shopping behaviours, delivering a ‘pop-in’ experience reminiscent of the UK’s high-street culture, the business said.

“At the same time, we’re proud to be introducing our new boutique format in London, a concept shaped directly by customer feedback and designed to complement the way people shop today.”
