Aldi’s Kevin the Carrot returns with Easter makeover

Aldi’s beloved Kevin the Carrot character will return to the supermarket’s middle aisle next week with a festive Easter makeover.

The discounter has released two limited edition Kevin soft toy collectibles, dressed in either a removable soft grey bunny suit or a boucle style lamb outfit.

The £3.99 Easter Kevin will appear in Aldi’s specialbuys on 14 March.

The supermarket chain first unveiled its Kevin the Carrot character for its 2016 Christmas advert, which saw the root vegetable embark on a festive adventure in a quest to meet Santa Claus.

Aldi has brought back Kevin for its subsequent Christmas adverts and released limited edition soft toys, including patriotic Kevin and friends to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The supermarket reported that over 70,000 shoppers had queued online to get their hands on Kevin soft toys in November 2022, when it released a set of football/food-themed soft toys to celebrate the World Cup final.
