Plans have been unveiled to launch a Crocs outlet at Northern Ireland retail park The Boulevard – Banbridge.

A planning application has been lodged to refit an existing retail unit to house the shoe retailer, according to Belfast Telegraph.

The plans include installing a new dividing wall, electrical systems, flooring and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

The planning application was lodged by Silvaman Group Ltd, Tipton on 31 July.

In an advertising campaign to promote the retailer’s launch, The Boulevard’s management team posted on its Facebook page on 20 August: “Got an old pair of Crocs lying around? Why not trade them in for something back!

“Until August 31, bring your old Crocs to The Boulevard and we’ll use them to help decorate our Crocs archway.

“In return, you’ll receive an exclusive discount on your next pair when the brand-new Crocs store opens right here at The Boulevard. It’s time to give your old Crocs a new purpose!”

The planning application is currently at the consultation stage. The Department for Infrastructure Roads Craigavon Office have reportedly been asked to have their say on the plans, but have not yet responded.
