Menswear retailer Thomas Pink has appointed former Dunhill director John Ray to the same role at its headquarters in London.
Following his departure as creative director at Dunhill last February, Ray will now be tasked with the revival of Thomas Pink, attempting to bring the 30-year-old brand into the forefront of the growing menswear sector.
In autumn of 2018 his first collection at Thomas Pink will go on sale, bringing his decades of menswear experience to the brand.

Prior to his role at Dunhill, Ray was employed at vice president of menswear at Gucci, following a stint as head of menswear at Katherine Hamnett.
His move comes amid a string of fresh appointments, including chief executive and president Christopher Zanardi-Landi, who stated: “I am really excited that John is joining us. His understanding of British craftsmanship and detail is second to none and we share an emotional common vision on Thomas Pink‘s future direction.”
Ray added: “I am delighted to be joining Thomas Pink. For those of us who are British, it holds a strong emotional appeal and potential.”
