Borough Market re-opens after London Bridge attacks

Borough Market has re-opened to the public after its closure brought about from the London Bridge terror attack.

Hundreds gathered to join local councillors, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and market traders this morning for a re-opening ceremony that featured a minute’s silence for the victims of the events of June 3.

The market bell then rang out at 10am to signal its return to full operation.

To support the traders, the market will open additionally on Sundays on June 18 and 25.

Borough Market is London’s oldest food market,  hosting 130 market stalls and attracting 16 million visitors every year.
