Morrisons to help Brits plan for Christmas with new collection service

Morrisons has introduced a new service designed to help customers better prepare this Christmas.

Shoppers at the supermarket giant will be able to organise their shopping this festive season thanks to a new collection service.

As part of Morrisons’ Christmas Food to Order service, customers will be able to book a collection slot between December 21 and December 24, after securing their Christmas dinner must-haves ahead of time.

The service will become available to a total of 464 Morrison’s stores.

There are 134 items on the menu, including turkeys, party food wine, desserts. It also includes a full vegan range and plenty for those who don’t consume gluten.

Morrisons says that its chefs and foodmakers have spent a year “crafting the perfect Christmas range”.

“We know how early some of our customers like to plan for Christmas and our festive Food to Order service is going to help them do just that,” Morrisons buying manager, Hannah Kilburn said.

“Customers will be able to find everything they need from feasts to feed the family, intimate dinners with a loved one or parties with friends.”

Shoppers can book their slot on the website, or head to the customer services point in their local branch.

They’ll need to pay a small deposit, but then you pay the balance when you pick your shopping up.
