Iceland, the frozen food & grocery seller has today announced scooping six awards at the British frozen foods ceremony.

Particular recognition occurred in the New Dessert category by winning a gold award for its Chocolate & Orange cheesecake.

It has been seen as selling an innovative selection of frozen produce in the sector, wining another gold accolade for Best New Savouries and Savoury Bread category for its 12 white bread rolls.

Two silver awards were given out of the six in the Fish category for its salmon portions in a Garlic and Herb Marinade and its ‘Iceland Luxury‘ After Dinner Ice Cream Mints.

Iceland, along with rival budget supermarket chain Lidl, has been performing strongly in a report published yesterday by research firm, Kantar Worldpanel, they form part of the arising ‘two – nation‘ trend of a divide in current shopping behaviour.
