Mulberry appoints new Finance Director

Mulberry has appointed Neil James Ritchie as Group Finance Director and a Director of the company with effect from 16 May 2016. At the same time, the existing Group Finance Director, roger Mather, will step down from the Board but will remain available to support a transition until his departure at the end of June.

Prior to joining Mulberry, 44 year-old Ritchie spent the last 14 years with the Malmesbury based Dyson Group at which he has held a variety of commercial and financial roles across UK, Europe, North America and Asia and most recently, Global Commercial Financial Director reporting to the CFO of Dyson. Ritchie is a chartered accountant having trained with Price Waterhouse, London, and brings extensive financial and international experience to Mulberry.

“His experience in developing and managing international business with a leading, innovative British brand will be very valuable during this exciting period for Mulberry,” commented Mulberry CEO Thierry Andretta.
