The New West End Company has promoted Deputy Chief Executive Jace Tyrrell to its top spot.

Before joining the business improvement district, which is the voice for London‘s Oxford Street, Bond Street and Regent Street,  Tyrrell was Executive Director at City & Westminster Property Associations representing 400 investors, commercial real estate advisors and owners in the city‘s capital.

“The board and I are delighted we have secured a chief executive that understand the area’s unique economic offer and the opportunities and challenges we will undergo with the arrival of Crossrail in 2018,” said Sir Peter Rogers Chairman of New West End Company.

“Jace has been instrumental in building on New West End Company‘s core values in supporting our 600 retailers to drive trade and to represent their interests to policy makers. As New West End Company celebrates 10 years in the West End, I look forward to what we can achieve in the next decade with Jace at the helm.”

With the assistance of the board, Tyrrell will lead the New West End Company through upcoming events such as the election of the Mayor of London as well as working with the partnership to create a clear vision for London‘s West End‘s future.

“The West End is a turning point with £1bn Crossrail bringing 60m more visits a year in 2018 and as its leading business voice, I look forward to working with my colleagues, the board and members to continue our vital work in driving economic growth, providing jobs and securing investment for the world‘s top shopping district,” Tyrrell said.
