Vivienne Westwood has finally opened the first standalone store for her eponymous fashion brand in Paris.

Taking up a historic building on the high-end fashion street of Rue Saint-Honore in the 1st Arrondissement, the store spans 1200 sq ft across two floors.

While Vivienne Westwood already has a concession in the flagship Galleries Lafayette department store, this is the first standalone foray in Paris for the renowned British fashion designer, and the third mainland European city to have one after Milan and Vienna.

The new Parisian store will stock Vivienne Westwood‘s three brand labels: Vivienne Westwood Femme and Homme, Anglomania and Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood. The brand‘s full accessories range and bridal and evening wear selections will also be on offer.

The store opening comes in time the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2017 show during Paris Fashion Week.

Emulating Burberry, Ralph Lauren and Topshop during London Fashion week, a capsule collection of 20 unisex pieces from the Andreas Kronthaler range went for sale at the Parisian Vivienne Westwood store straight after its catwalk show.

Vivienne Westwood is now set to open a flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York later this month, making it the second standalone US shop for the brand after its debut in LA‘s Melrose Ave.
