JD Sports is slated to “nearly double” the size of its Glasgow flagship by the end of the year.
The sportswear retailer is set to retain its exiting location at Silverburn shopping centre and expand into a neighbouring vacant shop to create a new, upsized flagship.
Once completed by November, it will have a footprint of 12,830sq ft across two storeys.

The upsized shop will feature the latest store design which is being rolled out across JD Sports’ store estate.
“We are excited to nearly double the size of our store and bring the latest fit out and concept to Silverburn,” JD Sports acquisitions manager Warren Thompson said.
“The additional space will enable us to offer a wider range of products to our loyal customers and realise the full potential of this location.”
