In pictures: JD Sports unveils its biggest-ever store in Westfield Stratford City

JD Sports has unveiled its biggest store to date as it reopens its flagship in London’s Westfield Stratford City.

The sports retailer has given its unit in the shopping centre a “digital uplift” and extended its retail floor by 4,000sq ft, taking its total space to 27,915 sq ft.

JD SportsJD SportsJD Sports says the store, which now sits across two floors, promises to deliver “a seamless and immersive shopping experience”.

Consumers can get their hands on the latest collections from the likes of Nike, adidas, New Balance, Under Armour and The North Face.

To celebrate the opening, the store will host several activations, such as competitions, customisation stations, and performance-based challenges throughout the spring season.

They will be hosted by JD Sports and its partners Crep Protect, Under Armour and New Balance.

Last week, JD Sports opened the doors to its new global flagship store on the world-famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris.

The opening comes as the retailer looks to capitalise on the Paris Olympic Games, kicking off this July, with a summer of major sporting events expected to drive wider interest in sportswear.
