Cos is set to open the doors to a new flagship store in a former warehouse in the Liverpool One shopping centre.
The 3,164sq ft store will open at the entrance of Peter’s Lane next month, counting upmarket fashion retailers Flannels and Harvey Nichols as its neighbors.
Liverpool One, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, reported sales growth of three per cent last year alongside a jump in annual footfall to 29 million.
It is fast becoming the preferred location for brands to enter the North West, with both Ben Sherman and Guess launching regional flagships at the centre last year.
“We are very pleased to secure a first store in the North West for Cos, which is another great directional fashion brand for Liverpool One,” Grosvenor’s asset management director Alison Clegg said.
“COS joins a cache of exceptional premium brands located on Peter’s Lane that together provide the best in designer clothing, footwear, jewellery and beauty products.”
Head of expansion at H&M Group, which owns Cos, Sam Miller added: “Liverpool is known for its focus on fashion, and nowhere more so than Liverpool One.
“The high footfall and line-up of complementary brands on Peter’s Lane will be great assets as we introduce our first Cos standalone store in the North West.”
