Online retailer Studio.co.uk looking to recruit 750 seasonal workers to support what is expected to be a record-breaking Christmas season.
The ecommerce brand, which is owned by Express Gifts, said the recruitment drive has so far seen it fill roles from warehouse operatives to customer service advisors, while expanding its headcount by nearly two thirds.
More than 40 per cent of the new employees have previously covered Christmas work at the brand and chose to return once again.
While there have already been several vacancies filled, Studio.co.uk confirmed it was now looking to expand the team in the financial services contact centre in the final run up to Christmas.
All seasonal employees will be based at the retailer’s Accrington headquarters.
“Christmas has always been an extremely busy period for us, however this year is on track to be bigger than ever,” Express Gifts managing director Paul Kendrick said.
“The nation’s love of good value gifting has certainly been working in our favour this year, so we are now well positioned to meet the increased demand that the season brings.
“It’s great to welcome back some familiar faces who have worked with us for a number of Christmas – they really are part of the family now.”
Express Gifts is owned by Findel but trades under Studio.co.uk.
