Inditex has unveiled plans to incorporate Zara Home into Zara following a successful full-year trading update yesterday.

The Zara Home division has existed as an independent fascia since 2003, and offers homewares and loungewear with Zara-influenced designs.

“The long-term goal is to consider Zara Home as a fourth section of Zara,” Inditex chairman Pablo Isla said.

Inditex’s annual results for the year ending January 31 detailed the financial performance of Zara Home for the first time.

Meanwhile, Zara Home will operate as usual from an online shop and 603 standalone stores, although certain products will be introduced within selected Zara stores as an addition to Zara’s Woman, Man, Kids and TRF sections.

The initiative has already launched within a number of stores including London, St Petersburg, and Madrid.

Isla said that the online store will see the brands capitalise from their operational and management synergies.

“The goal is to leverage operational and brand management of the store and online platform in a combined manner,” he said.
