Karen Millen has announced it will launch a new jewellery collection to boost its overall appeal to customers.

The jewellery collection will launch in March 2020 and will be in partnership with jewellery supplier Gecko, which is part of the Weston Beamor Group.

It is part of a multi-year licensing deal brokered by IMG, the 90 piece collection will be introduced in all major Karen Millen stores and online.

The collection will include earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, with prices ranging from £20 to £170.

“It was clear through discussions we have a shared passion for delivering timeless quality and beauty for our global customer base,” Karen Millen chief executive Beth Butterwick said.

Furthermore, in late June, the parent company of Karen Millen officially put the womenswear retailer up for sale, and said it would begin formal talks with potential suitors in the coming days.

According to Sky News, the sales process is being led by Deloitte and comes after several weeks of deliberations by Karen Millen’s executive team.
