Wolf & Badger has smashed the £10 million milestone and hinted at plans for a third store in LA as the fashion retailer celebrates 10 years since it was established.

The retailer said its online sales skyrocketed 59 per cent from £6.6 million to £10.5 million in 2019, on the back of a record nine million visitors to its online platform.

Wolf & Badger did not reveal its full-year profit figures for the year, although last April it completed a £4.5 million fundraiser to help further its ambitious growth plans driven by co-founding brothers George and Henry Graham.

From its inception as a small boutique in London’s Notting Hill with a curated selection of 20 ready-to-wear independent designers in 2010, Wolf & Badger grew to over 100 brands within the first year.

Categories now span across womenswear, menswear, accessories, jewellery, beauty, grooming and homeware selected from over 70 countries.

In 2014 Wolf & Badger launched its global online marketplace and in 2016 a new dashboard technology connecting customers and independent ethical brands was built in-house.

In 2017 global expansion was accelerated with the launch of a three storey New York store in SoHo at 95 Grand Street, laying the groundwork for Wolf & Badger to take on the US market.

In November 2019, Wolf & Badger said its US store recorded a 37 per cent surge in like-for-like sales for the year.

Meanwhile, the retailer relocated its London store to a new, bigger flagship in 2018 within the Coal Drops Yard precinct in Kings Cross.

Wolf & Badger said for the year ahead, it plans to continue scaling the customer base worldwide, and hinted at expanding its retail footprint with a new store in Los Angeles.
