PrettyLittleThing co-founders unveil new interior design business

PrettyLittleThing co-founders Adam Kamani and Umar Kamani have launched a new interior design business, Kamani Rossar.

The new firm from the entrepreneurial brothers, which has studios based in London and Dubai, is a business partnership with interior designer Rob Rosser, with the three holding shares in the new firm.

Kamani Rossar will provide interior design services to an external base of global, luxury clients, as well as for Kamani Property Group’s portfolio of commercial, residential and industrial buildings across major cities including London and Dubai.

Adam Kamani said: “It has been a long-held ambition to make bespoke, luxury interior design one of our business offerings. I’ve always admired Rob’s work, so I’m so pleased we are partnering with him on Kamani Rossar.

“It’s full steam ahead with our ambition to become renowned worldwide as the premier authority in interior, architecture and developments.”

Umar Kamani stepped down from his role of PrettyLittleThing CEO last April, after setting up the retailer with his brother in 2012.

Writing on Twitter at the time, the fashion founder said he had made the “difficult decision” to leave his role and would pursue “new challenges” with hopes to “build new brands”.

In November, Kamani also made a play to buy Topshop and “bring it back like the good old days” following reports that the brand’s owner Asos was weighing up a sale.
