Tesco has reportedly promoted Jan Marchant to the chief executive position for its F&F clothing arm.
The news comes seven months after Richard Price stepped down to take up the clothing and home managing director role with Marks & Spencer, with whom he has worked previously.
According to an internal staff note seen by Retail Week, Marchant was promoted from creative and digital director to F&F chief executive with immediate effect.

She had been interim F&F boss since Price’s exit in December last year.
Marchant started her career at Topshop and had stints as a senior buyer at Etam and head of ladieswear buying at Mackays before she moved to Tesco in 2002 as UK buying director.
She worked her way up to F&F Europe design director 2011 and was made creative and digital director in 2017.
