N Brown Group has appointed Nuno Miller as its new digital chief operating officer, to help accelerate its digital transformation plans, Drapers has revealed.

Miller, who joins the group this month will help drive the it’s digital transformation.

This includes new front-end websites for its brands, including the fashion retailers JD Williams, Simply Be, Jacamo and Ambrose Wilson.

N Brown Group also announced a new technology roadmap in June last year, which it said will “move away from the legacy web technology stack, improve stability and accelerate the pace of future change”.

Miller’s most recent position was chief digital and information officer at Portugal-based Sonae Fashion group.

Prior to Sonae, Miller served as chief information officer at the luxury fashion site Farfetch.

N Brown Group chief executive Steve Johnson said: “I am delighted to welcome Nuno to N Brown,”

“He brings a wealth of relevant experience from across the industry and his passion for agile methodologies and mindset is perfectly suited to how we work.

“I look forward to working with him as we execute our technology roadmap and deliver our strategy of creating an improved experience for our customers.”
