B&Q owner Kingfisher has reshuffled its top team and has created the new role of chief commercial officer.

Sebastien Krysiak, currently chief executive of Castorama in Poland has been appointed to the new global role, where he will lead offer and sourcing, supply chain and logistics, and customer insight when he takes up the post on April 4.

The DIY group said Krysiak would bring his breadth of commercial, trading and banner experience to these teams.

Pascal Gil, currently the boss of Kingfisher’s French business Brico Dépôt, will replace Krysiak as chief executive of Castorama Poland and will join the DIY group’s executive team.

Laurent Vittoz, who currently leads group sourcing, will replace Gil while group general counsel Elizabeth Messud will take a seat on Kingfisher’s executive team.

Meanwhile, Kingfisher’s chief supply chain officer Martin Lee will leave the business at the end of May after seven years. Lee helped the business navigate both the global supply chain challenges during the pandemic.
