Boohoo has pledged to offer a female-owned business the opportunity to win £50,000 worth of marketing support.

The business that wins will also receive mentoring from the online fast fashion giant, along with a funded billboard placement for a week.

The initiative takes place ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8, which celebrates the cultural, political and socioeconomic achievements of women.

“Boohoo want to support emerging female business owners in realising their dreams and aspirations,” Boohoo said.

“As well as the prize money, we will be providing marketing masterclasses with some of the key players in the boohoo team including our Brand Director and Head of Marketing.

“We wanted to provide more than just a monetary opportunity, we want to help mentor and support business owners as well.”

Entries close on 2 March, with the winner to be announced on 15 March.
