Boohoo CIO Jo Graham is to leave the online retailer after three and half years of leading its technology division.

Graham, who was previously technology director at Morrisons, has used technology to help scale Boohoo’s business, including helping to quickly relaunch new acquisitions including Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis and Warehouse.

She also ensured the business was able to cope with the dramatic increase in demand during Covid.

Earlier this year, Graham was named CIO of the Year at the Women in IT Awards UK.

She has left Boohoo today and is set to take time off before starting a new role.

Despite presiding over a period of growth, Graham leaves Boohoo as it faces a challenging time.

Last month it warned sales are likely to be hit during the golden quarter after it posted a fall in its half-year profits.

The online fashion retailer reported a 10% drop in sales to £882.4 million in the six months to August 31 – and warned that it expects “a similar rate of revenue declines” during the festive period.

Boohoo Group declined to comment.
