Greggs and Primark have launched its ‘Tasty by Greggs’ in-store cafe at Primark’s flagship on the east end of Oxford Street.
The 110-seater café opened at noon today inside the retailer‘s largest London store and follows its debut at Primark’s Birmingham store.
A Greggs spokesperson told Retail Gazette that this marks the beginning of an expansion spree for the bakery chain as it is set to open further concessions within Primark stores.
Greggs property director Tony Rowson said: “Since opening our first Tasty by Greggs in February this year, it’s been brilliant to see fans enjoying the world’s biggest and most Instagrammable Greggs in Primark, Birmingham.”
The concession features all the classic Greggs favourites, from chicken bakes to doughnuts, and hot drinks.
‘Tasty by Greggs’ customers will also be able to get their hands on a range of hot food to go, including the recent TikTok phenomenon, Hot Yum Yums with either salted caramel or milk chocolate dipping sauce and pizza sharing boxes with a range of toppings.
‘Tasty by Greggs’ is located on Primark’s top floor and features vibrant interiors, doughnut inspired seating booths and a sausage roll swing.
Customers strapped for time can also skip the queues via Greggs click-and-collect using the Greggs app.
Visitors can also expect a fun experience with a Greggs phone box with interactive digital games.
