Battersea Power Station has recorded a footfall of five million since it first opened six months ago.

London’s newest shopping centre opened in October 2022, and has since then welcomed more than 20 new businesses including Jigsaw, Under Armour, Swatch, and Penhaligon’s.

More brands are set to launch at the Power Station and Electric Boulevard, a new pedestrianised high street.

Battersea Power Station Development Company CEO, Simon Murphy said: “It has been brilliant to see so many people visiting the new riverside neighbourhood we have created here at Battersea Power Station over the past six months.

”It was the aim of our shareholders to give the much-loved Power Station a new lease of life and to open it up for the public to enjoy.

“To have welcomed more than five million people down since the landmark opened has been a huge achievement and we look forward to welcoming more visitors throughout 2023 to discover the new stores opening, a greater food and drink offering, as well as lots of unique and family friendly events.”

I was just about to write the same comment.
I went there a few months ago and found the whole place soulless, navigation poor and the retail selection lacklustre. All in all, for me at least, it was really disappointing

Remarkable new place to shop and hang out. Indoor/al fresco dining, street food, cinema, bars, a brewery, you name it. With astonishing artefacts dating back to the industrial revolution.
