Dune London has teamed up with pre-loved specialists Reskinned to launch a new take-back scheme.

The service allows customers to return their used shoes in any condition in exchange for a voucher worth up to £40 off their next purchase.

As part of the deal, Reskinned will be responsible for keeping pre-loved Dune shoes “in circulation for the longest time possible through resale, repair and developing innovative end-of-life solutions for each and every pair”.

The footwear and accessories retailer said the initiative formed part of its wider responsibility strategy to reduce fashion waste.

Sustainability director Clara Eisenberg said: “We are delighted to be working with Reskinned to put in place another piece of our responsibility initiative.

“We know lots of our customers have beautiful Dune London shoes hiding in their wardrobes and we’re excited to launch this partnership to allow these pre-loved shoes to be worn again.”

River Island has also recently unveiled an eBay shop selling pre-loved items as part of its own take-back scheme with Reskinned.

Seasalt, in turn, launched a resale platform with Reskinned, allowing shoppers to buy pre-loved and repaired items from the brand that have been brought in by other customers.
