John Lewis Partnership plans to recruit for over 10,000 roles

The John Lewis Partnership is recruiting for more than 10,000 roles across the country, which it said is part of its “commitment to delivering exceptional service, no matter when, where, or how our customers prefer to shop with us”.

Across Waitrose, the business is set to recruit over 2,800 seasonal roles across its 329 shops, including supermarket assistants, night shift and customer delivery drivers.

In its 34 John Lewis stores, it has over 2,900 temporary roles in sales and merchandising positions.

The partnership is also recruiting 2,700 seasonal roles in its supply chain through the recruitment agencies it works with, including warehouse operatives and drivers to deliver customers a seamless digital experience on Waitrose.com, John Lewis.com and John Lewis Click and Collect orders.

In addition to the seasonal temporary jobs, a further 1,700 positions will be available across both Waitrose and John Lewis in a variety of roles over the coming months.
