PSG to open first UK store on Oxford Street

Paris Saint-Germain football club (PSG) is set to open its first physical store in the UK on 393 Oxford Street.

Taking over a former American Candy store and located next to footwear retailer Office, PSG signage has gone up on the windows of the property with the text ‘opening soon’.

It is thought to be the first overseas football club to open a physical store in the UK.

The French football club counts superstar Kylian Mbappé as one of its players.

Savills co-head prime global retail Sam Foyle said: “For PSG to choose Oxford Street for its global flagship store, continues the positive story and momentum that is building on Oxford Street. It is one of a number of new international entrants we are working with that are due to open on Oxford Street soon.”

Savills’ Callum White said: “PSG have utilised their sports brand and connections with Nike & Jordan’s to secure some of the best fashion collaborations in the market over recent years such as Bape, Dior & Hublot. The new store on Oxford Street will be a hub for them to grow the brand even further in London and the UK”.

Back in May, fellow football team Manchester City opened the doors to its new flagship store in the Manchester Arndale shopping centre.

The club shop houses merchandise ranging from the team kits, including the recently release 2023/24 home kit, and training apparel, hats, scarfs and memorabilia.

The store sits alongside the shopping centre’s popular sports and leisure stores, such as Footlocker and JD Sports, as well as Sports Direct’s newly opened flagship store in the former BHS unit.
