Sainsbury’s launches personalised prices to website following in-store success

Sainsbury’s has launched personalised lower prices for Nectar Card users on its website and grocery app under its Your Nectar Prices scheme.

Your Nectar Prices had previously only been available to loyalty card members shopping in Sainsbury’s stores using SmartShop.

However, the move now means customers can take advantage of the discounts while online shopping, via home delivery or click and collect.

Personalised prices are based on customers’ frequently bought products at the supermarket, as well as what Nectar thinks they’ll want based on these shopping habits.

Shoppers will receive up to 10 personalised prices per week, with savings up to 30% on each product.

Your Nectar Prices are refreshed for customers every Friday, remain valid for seven days, and can be used multiple times.

According to the supermarket, shoppers have saved over £30m so far this year using Your Nectar Prices via SmartShop.

In July, Sainsbury’s extended its Nectar Prices promotion to include meat, fish and poultry for the first time, after initially launching the initiative in April.
