Mango has opened its third standalone Mango Teen store in the UK, as it accelerates expansion of the youthwear brand to tap into rising teen spending power.

The new store, located in Glasgow’s Buchanan Galleries, is the first Mango Teen site outside of London and marks a key step in the Spanish fashion giant’s plans to grow its presence among younger UK shoppers.

The business first introduced its Teen line online in 2021 and has since opened two standalone Teen stores in London – one on Carnaby Street and another at Westfield.

The UK now hosts more standalone Mango Teen stores than any other international market, making it a priority territory for growth, according to the company.

The expansion is part of a broader global push which saw the retailer double its number of Mango Teen stores in 2024 to more than 40 worldwide. The brand also has an online presence in 95 markets.

“Today’s teens are turning to fashion to express themselves like never before,” said Berta Moral, global director of Mango Kids and Teen.

“We see a clear gap in the market for contemporary, youthful fashion at a reasonable price point.”

Founded in 2021, Mango Teen aims to bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood, offering apparel, footwear and accessories with a focus on quality fabrics, Mediterranean influences and trend-led designs.
