Alo Yoga is expanding across the UK with four new shops on the way.
The activewear brand, which made its UK debut in 2023, confirmed new stores in Victoria Leeds, Manchester, Westfield London and London Battersea Power Station on Wednesday (8 October).
The company’s first site outside London will be based inside a 7,000 sq ft retail unit at 5 New Cathedral Street, Manchester, Drapers revealed in May.
Alo Yoga confirmed that the shop would open on 21 November.
The chain is launching a 6,500 sq ft site at Westfield London on 28 November, as well as a 2,551 sq ft shop at Battersea Power Station on 5 December.
The retailer’s 6,700 sq ft Victoria Leeds shop is set to open its doors in 2026.
Each shop will house natural materials, light-filled interiors, and sculptural displays.
Alo Yoga executive vice president of marketing and creative Summer Nacewicz said: “We’re thrilled to expand Alo’s presence in the UK with four new sanctuaries that bring people together.
“Each space has been thoughtfully created to reflect the spirit of its city while offering our community a place to connect, recharge, and grow.”
She continued: “At Alo, we believe wellness is best experienced collectively — these sanctuaries are envisioned as hubs for movement, mindfulness, and community.
“From Manchester’s vibrant energy to the historic beauty of Battersea and Victoria Leeds, each destination is meant to bring people together to share in the Alo experience.”
Earlier this year, Alo Yoga unveiled a revamp of its sanctuary on Roblox, designed to bridge virtual wellness with real-world rewards.
In a first for the gaming platform, players visiting any of the brand’s 150 stores worldwide were able to unlock exclusive in-game gear using near-field communication (NFC) technology.
