Moonpig has named Catherine Faiers as its new CEO, with her start date to be announced in due course.
Faiers takes over from Nickyl Raithatha, who revealed he would be stepping down from his role at the card retailer in June, after seven years with the business.
Faiers currently serves as chief operating officer of software development brand Auto Trader Group.
Prior to this, she worked as chief operating officer at transport provider Addison Lee from 2013 to 2017.
The exec also served as corporate development director for Trainline from 2011 to 2013.
Moonpig non-executive chair Kate Swann said: “Catherine brings a wealth of experience in e-commerce and public companies, with a proven track record of leading customer-focused digital, data, and technology transformations.
“I’m delighted to welcome her to the board and look forward to working closely with her. The board is pleased to have attracted someone of Catherine’s calibre to lead Moonpig Group, which reflects the strength and potential of our business.”
Faiers said: “I’m excited to be joining Moonpig Group, a business with a clear purpose, a strong platform and an exciting future.
“The group has transformed the way people connect and celebrate through technology and creativity.
“I look forward to working with the talented team to drive innovation, bring joy to our customers and to deliver sustainable value creation for all of our stakeholders.”
