Boots is set to open its second beauty-only concept store in Bristol this spring, bringing its “most innovative beauty retail experience” outside of London for the first time.

The store will offer an “elevated and experiential way” to discover the latest in beauty, according to the retailer.

The 11,000 sq ft shop will open in the centre of the Bristol Shopping Quarter at the Cabot Circus Shopping Centre.

It comes after Boots opened its first standalone beauty store in 2023 at Battersea Power Station in London.

The new store will showcase more than 200 well known and emerging brands across skincare, haircare, fragrance, cosmetics, premium beauty and electrical beauty.

Leading brands will include, Kylie Cosmetics, One/Size, Wonderskin and SheGlam. Additionally, it will introduce customers to new brands never seen before at Boots, including several UK high street exclusive ranges.

In response to the growing demand for South Korean beauty, the store will also feature one of the largest K-Beauty ranges, offering brands such as Beauty and Joseon and Dr Reju-All.

Alongside this, it includes a curated range of premium beauty minis and a regularly refreshed “trending on social” edit.

The site will feature a new wellness zone, bringing together inside-out beauty and wellness products such as collagen and supplements from Boots brands, Habi and Modern Chemistry, into “one easy-to-shop space”.

Additionally, the store will offer free beauty services, including skin scans, and personalised expert wellness advice delivered by the company’s specialist team to give customers personalised guidance tailored to their needs.

The new store will create 30 specialist roles, including derm-trained pharmacists and specialists for both beauty and wellness.

The launch forms a key part of Boots’ accelerated beauty transformation programme, which is “reshaping how customers discover beauty across its estate”.

Boots beauty director Paul Niezawitowski said: “Boots is the unrivalled home of beauty in the UK, and this new store gives us the perfect stage to showcase the best of Boots in one of the country’s most vibrant and creative cities.

“We hear a lot from customers that they want immersive shopping experiences, expert guidance and inspiration, and with price points from 50p to £500, our next beauty-only concept store certainly delivers on that and more.

“We’re delighted to bring to life this next exciting step in our beauty transformation.”
