Online marketplace eBay has unveiled a new global brand campaign for its live shopping platform.
Titled ‘Meanwhile on eBay Live‘, the marketing drive aims to position eBay Live as the “antidote to passive scrolling”. It highlights “the real connections and trusted individuals behind the inventory that can’t be found anywhere else.”
Devised in collaboration with creative agency JOAN, the campaign features dedicated assets across fashion, collectables and more.
The spot showcases some of the products and tools the platform offers consumers such as rare inventory, passionate communities and trusted sellers.
According to the marketplace, collectable items such as Pokémon cards, sports memorabilia and comics are popular on eBay Live.
Its livestreams have proven to be popular with consumers, with 40,000 viewers tuning into a Labubu livestream.
The marketing drive launches on 8 June in the UK and US and will run across out-of-home, TV, digital and social media.
