adidas has partnered with Belgian streetwear label Arte Antwerp for their FW26 collection, which launches with a footballer-fronted campaign.
English footballer Trent Alexander-Arnold [pictured] and Moroccan footballer Brahim Díaz star in this marketing drive. While, London-based DJ Conducta, Belgian artist Bahati, pro skater Jarrad, Seoul-based rapper Mason, Spanish producer SHB and Tokyo producer Jumadiba also make an appearance.
According to adidas this “collection of talent illustrates how football’s community permeates music, art and street style”.
The collection combines 90s football culture with European textile traditions and was inspired by Arte Antwerp’s creative director Bertony Da Silva’s links to Portugal and Belgium.
It uses Portuguese artisanal weaving and embroidery techniques, as well as Belgium’s lace making techniques.
Da Silva said: “Football has always been more than a sport, it shapes how people dress, connect and express themselves. This season we wanted to celebrate that using colour, craft and silhouette, particularly through the ADIDAS Z.N.E. tracksuit.
“Working alongside our community of athletes and creatives, the campaign reflects what this collection is about: the culture that surrounds the game and the people who carry it forward.”
The range, which launches globally on 4 August, features tracksuits, jerseys and footwear.
