The Entertainer is partnering with Creasey’s in Guernsey to take over operation of the 127-year-old department store’s toy business.

Arriving at Creaseys’ flagship St Peter Port store in the autumn, the new 3,000 sq ft concession will bring The Entertainer’s full range of toys, games and collectables to Guernsey for the first time.

The launch will add to the toy retailer’s existing Channel Islands presence in St Helier, Jersey.

The partnership will “enhance” the range of toys and games available to Creaseys’ customers, enabling Guernsey shoppers to access The Entertainer’s three exclusive ranges from Meccano, Early Learning Centre and Yummy Buddies for the first time.

The tie-up forms the latest addition to The Entertainer’s “Toy Box” retail solution for multi-category retailers, with Creasey’s joining Tesco, Matalan, Deliveroo, Moonpig and Carrefour UAE as Toy Box partners.

The Entertainer group chief new business development officer Phil Savage said: “We’re very excited to be launching on the fabulous island of Guernsey and absolutely delighted to do so by partnering with a retailer of the quality and standing of Creasey’s.

“Through bringing an extended range of toys to Creaseys’ customers, we’re confident the new partnership will drive growth and be an instant hit with fun-seekers of all ages across Guernsey.”

He continued: “The new-look store will open for business in time for the October half term, by which time we also expect to have confirmed the location of our final new store openings for 2026.”

Creasey’s department store managing director Jonathan Creasey added: “We are thrilled to be welcoming The Entertainer to Creasey’s Department Store.

“Toys have always been an important part of our offer, and this partnership allows us to build on that heritage in a meaningful way, bringing exciting new ranges and retail experience to the island.”

“As a fifth-generation family business, it is important to us that we continue to invest in our stores and respond to changing customer expectations.

“Working with a specialist of The Entertainer’s calibre ensures we can continue to offer the quality, choice and service our customers expect, while creating something fresh and engaging for the next generation of families visiting our store.”
