The Estée Lauder Companies has expanded the roles of two members of its executive team as part of its ongoing digital and business transformation.
Brian Franz has been appointed chief technology and transformation officer, while Amber English has been named president, digital & online, the Americas and global Amazon lead, heading Estée Lauder’s global relationship with Amazon.
Both will continue to report to president and CEO Stéphane de La Faverie and remain on the company’s executive team.
It is understood Franz will oversee transformation initiatives focused on revenue growth and productivity, including the operationalisation of the company’s Enterprise Business Services programme. He will also lead work around AI-enabled processes, technology skills and new ways of working.
Since joining Estée Lauder in April 2025, Franz has helped develop partnerships with Shopify and Accenture aimed at strengthening omnichannel commerce and simplifying shared services.
“Over the past 18 months, we have focused on building the technology-driven foundations that will enable the company’s future and, with that, have embedded an expectation among our team for constant evolution and improvement,” said Franz.
“How we work, make decisions, and ultimately serve our consumers will never be stagnant. Technology is one of the most powerful tools we have to make that evolution real, and I am excited to take on this expanded responsibility as we continue building a faster, simpler, and more connected company.”
English will lead the company’s Amazon business, which spans 13 brands across 11 markets, while continuing to oversee digital and online operations in the Americas.
She joined Estée Lauder in 2021 and led its entry into Amazon Premium Beauty and TikTok Shop in the US. Online sales accounted for 34% of the company’s reported net sales in fiscal 2026, up three percentage points year on year.
“Our work in The Americas has demonstrated what is possible when we combine strong brand building, differentiated consumer experiences, and the scale of digital commerce,” added English.
“Amazon has been an exceptional partner, and this expanded global remit gives us the opportunity to scale what we’ve learned across markets while continuing to create differentiated experiences for consumers around the world.”
