Dreams has achieved the milestone of 225 stores nationwide, meaning the company has more UK stores than any other bed retailer.
It follows the launch of its new Manchester Fort shopping park location. The new 4,750 sq ft store has created seven new jobs in the local area and demonstrates Dreams’ “continued investment in bricks and mortar retail”.
To mark the Manchester Fort opening, customers will receive 10 per cent off when spending £750 or more at the store from 21 August to 3 September.
The news comes one week before Manchester Pride. The retailer is set to launch its ‘sleep like a queen’ activation, working alongside LGBT Foundation and local drag performers to transform its new store into a Pride-inspired bedroom.
The campaign celebrates the role a great night’s sleep plays in helping people recharge and perform at their best ahead of one of the celebrations.
Dreams CEO Jonathan Hirst said: “Reaching 225 stores is a proud moment for everyone at Dreams, and means more people across the UK than ever can easily visit us in store and get the support they need to find their perfect sleep solution.
“Buying a bed is an important decision, and we know customers value being able to come into a store, try different mattresses and speak to our bed experts before making that choice.
“Our nationwide store network, combined with tools like sleepmatch and our 100-night comfort guarantee, gives customers confidence both when they’re choosing their bed, and once they get it home.”
