Timothy Oulton picks Chelsea for new global flagship store

Timothy Oulton is poised to open the doors to its new worldwide flagship store in London’s posh Chelsea neighbourhood next month.

The furniture and interiors brand will takeover the Bluebird Garage space, located on-site with the Bluebird Café, on King’s Road.

The new 7200sq ft store will mark Timothy Outlon’s largest retail display of their products globally.

The opening of the Chelsea gallery is the latest expression of the brand, and will help mark 10 years since its first opening in Los Angeles.

“It’s a special place, and we want to bring something very special to Bluebird, and to Chelsea,” founder Timothy Oulton said.

“Inviting people into our home has always been at the core of our ethos, so we’re passionate that the gallery at Bluebird shows our home at its absolute best, and is not only a great furniture destination but it’s also a place to host and connect with people.”

The site of the new flagship store is operated by Sloane Stanley.

“Timothy Oulton is a powerful addition to the eclectic, vibrant array of brands offered on the King’s Road,” Sloane Stanley commercial property manager Hannah Grievson said.

“The rich heritage of the estate and of Bluebird Garage, complements the brand’s traditional British collection.

“Bluebird is a bustling hub of entertainment and a destination that attracts a lot of visitors, providing a robust platform for an established brand such as Timothy Oulton to launch their flagship store in Chelsea, London.”
