// The Bullring centre and Westquay will welcome the new openings
// Exact dates are unknown but stores likely to open “ahead of the Christmas shopping season”

Lego has revealed plans to open two new stores in the UK in flagship shopping centres owned by Hammerson.

The iconic toy brand’s two new stores due to open later this year will be Birmingham’s Bullring and Southampton’s Westquay.

The opening dates remain unknown, but Hammerson said the stores will open their doors “ahead of the Christmas shopping season”.

Hammerson said customers can expect to be” treated to a variety of interactive play and event experiences” – including brick specialists, hands-on “play opportunities” and a digital box – where customers can “scan almost any boxed Lego set and see the model come to life in 3D”.

The stores will also “stock the widest selection of Lego sets” and offer additional benefits for “Lego VIP members”.
