Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has appointed Kate Orwin to to the role of UK and Italy leasing director.
Effective from February 26, Orwin joins from shopping centre rival Hammerson, where she was responsible for leasing Hammerson’s UK portfolio of flagship destinations.
In her new role at the parent company of Westfield, she will be responsible for leasing strategy, key occupier relationships and leadership of the leasing team.

She will also oversee strategy and negotiations for current and new occupiers while working closely with the operating management, asset management and development teams.
Orwin will replace Keith Mabbett who will take on a new role of senior adviser – business development.
In his new role, Mabbett utilise his networks and strong relationships to ensure Westfield’s centres continue to meet the changing needs of consumers.
