Hobbs poaches Topman director

Gracia Amico has been today announced as the new E-commerce Director at women‘s fashion retailer Hobbs.

Prior to taking up her new role, Amico was working as Head of E-commerce at Topman where she took control of its global e-commerce strategy, nurturing key partnerships and driving channel development.

Amico has international experience having launched new websites in France, Germany and the US during her time at the men‘s fashion retailer and has also previously worked in the multichannel team at British luxury label Burberry.

Clare Dobbie, Marketing & Ecom Director at Hobbs, welcomed Amico to her new position.

She said: “We are delighted to welcome Gracia to the Hobbs team, we loved her energy and entrepreneurial spirit and her experience will help drive our international aspirations.”

Of Dutch/Italian origin, Amico also has social media expertise and worked to develp content at Topman and it is hoped that her status as a rising star in the industry will be cemented by this latest move.

Amico commented: “Hobbs is a fantastic brand. There are some really exciting ecommerce developments in the pipeline and I look forward to working with the team as we drive the success of the brand in to the future.”
