House of Fraser has poached John Lewis‘ CTO Julian Burnett, who will take on a role as Chief Information Officer at the former retailer effective 5th October 2015.

Burnett has over 25 years‘ experience working for consumer facing businesses. “He has a successful track record of shaping, architecting and delivering high impact technology enabled business transformation; and re-energising, developing and leading high performing IT functions and consulting practices,” the company said in a statement.
