H &M is reportedly considering the possibility of opening standalone menswear stores in the UK.
According to Retail Week, H&M UK and Ireland manager Carlos Duarte said the Swedish retailer was “working on” introducing menswear stores in London.
H&M already has dedicated menswear stores in Sweden and Germany, its two biggest markets, and says the UK is its third biggest.
However, Duarte would not confirm a launch date, shop numbers nor specific locations.
Should it happen, H&M would follow the paths taken by other major retailers – such as New Look, Zara and Jigsaw – by opening dedicated menswear fascias.
