Wickes has announced a new one-hour delivery service as it partners with On the dot.

The DIY retailer will become the first in the sector to offer instant delivery service after partnering with City Sprint-owned On the dot.

Aiming to solidify its place in the “go economy” which sees retailers scramble to meet the increasingly instant needs of consumers, Wickes Hourly is offering deliveries nationwide available every day of the week costing a minimum of £9.95.

“We pride ourselves on making our customers‘ lives that little bit easier and we‘re excited to say we‘re the first to market with this new delivery option in our sector,” Wickes supply chain director Duncan Kendal said.
