Nisa appoints two new board members

The convenience store giant Nisa has appointed two new non executive directors to its board.

Neil Ashworth, chief executive of Collect+ and independent UK parcel service who also runs his own retail and logistics consultancy company, has previously held executive positions at Tesco, Co-op and Woolworths.

Nisa will also welcome Arnu Misra, who has previously held roles at Matalan and Asda.

I am delighted that Neil and Arnu are joining the board at this important time in our journey. As we move from stabilisation into growth, and execute our three-year strategy, the experience of both Neil and Arnu will add greatly to this process,” Nisa chief executive Nick Read said.

“Nisa has enjoyed a positive start to the busy year-end period, with the recent announcement of significant retailer recruitment, and I am pleased to now be reporting the strengthening of the Nisa board too.”
