MatchesFashion.com has appointed two people to his senior management team, with Usama Dar as the chief technology officer and Heidi Coppin as chief HR officer.

Both roles are effective from this month ans both will report to the luxury fashion retailer‘s chief executive Ulric Jerome.

Dar has 20 years‘ experience working in both Europe and the US for companies like Huawei, Sony and Yahoo to develop and deliver technology innovation. 

Most recently, he held the role of chief technology officer at at Westwing, a Rocket Internet Company.

Meanwhile, Coppin joins Matches Fashion from online retailer Not On The High Street where she was people director. 

She previously held the role of global VP of human resources at Net-A-Porter, and senior roles at ASOS, Unilever, Warner Music, and Anheuser-Busch.

“Usama‘s role is an important one for MatchesFashion.com if we are to continue to lead the way in innovation as we always have done.

“Culture and talent are at the core of MatchesFashion.com and as we grow at this accelerated rate it‘s crucial we nurture both within our business to attract, inspire and retain people. Heidi has an important role to play as we develop globally.”
