Upmarket footwear retailer Russell & Bromley is set to make its bricks-and-mortar debut in Birmingham after signing a lease at the Bullring shopping centre.

Taking out a 2800sq ft unit on the upper east level of the shopping centre, the new store forms part of Russell & Bromley‘s UK expansion strategy after announcing new stores at Westquay, Southampton and Victoria Gate, Leeds.

Russell & Bromley‘s new store at Bullring, which is operated by property firm Hammerson, follows on from announcements this month by Ben Sherman and Coach both opening their first Birmingham stores in the shopping centre.

“Following the recent announcement of Coach‘s debut in Bullring, we are pleased to welcome yet another aspirational brand to Birmingham for the first time,” Hammerson UK commercial director Iain Mitchell said.

“Leading retailers are increasingly focusing their store expansion plans on prime regional shopping centres, and as the leading retail destination in the midlands, Bullring is the perfect fit for Russell & Bromley.”

Russell & Bromley currently has over 40 stores across the UK, including stand alone men’s and children’s footwear stores.
