Pharmacy retailer Well has announced Chris Ellett to take on the newly-created role of transformation director.

Ellett joins the chain this month, bringing 13 years of experience in business transformation and over a decade in senior leadership roles.

Prior to Well, he worked was the Co-op‘s group head of transformation and had previously worked as engagement director for Boxwood, designing and implementing transformation programmes.

Based at Well‘s head office in Manchester, Ellett will report directly to chief executive John Nuttall and will be in charge of leading the IT, Programme Management Office, and Innovation functions.

The overall focus of Ellett‘s role will be shaping and defining the future strategy for the Well Group, which incorporates Well, Well Careplus and Bestway Medhub.
